Statistic will show just four opponents but reality is Sushil Kumar had to grapple with absence of a masseur as well as he survived bout after bout to win India’s second medal in Beijing Olympics.
Sushil looked doomed with his defeat against Andriy Stadnik in the morning session but with the Ukrainian managing to reach the final, the repechage door was still open for the Indian.

Not a big problem if some people are as generous as Bipasha Basu who recently offered to sleep with Vijender Kumar if he wins gold for India. She can offer to be his masseur till the next Olympics and if Sushil wins gold in London she would waive her fee for four years :)
So what if he didn't have a professional masseur? He had more than a professional one in his passionate coach Kartar Singh a double Asian gold medalist. It's time people stop whining and start performing and the government start getting serious about sports.
The masseur might have been busy massaging the sports minister.
